ABOUT TUNDRA WILD RICE
Tundra Wild Rice is a natural producer and supplier of quality, long grain Canadian Lake Wild Rice. Our wild rice is grown in the (often inaccessible) remote wilderness of Canada. The cool, shallow waters remain undisturbed most of the year. In the spring, the snow induced flood waters renew the health of the lakes, rivers and streams. Our recent push to spread wild rice to areas it once inhabited begins when the ice recedes and the waters are easily travelled by canoe. In the late summer and early fall we return to harvest the results, being sure to leave at least 1/3 to help re-seed for following harvests and following generations . OUR PRODUCTS
We offer Grade A, Grade B and Broken Canadian Lake Wild Rice. Our product is grown naturally without the use of fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides or any other chemical applications in the remote wilderness of Manitoba Canada. Processed in an organically certified facility. We take great care at every step to provide the highest quality wild rice.
